As a massive advocate for low-waste living, packaging is a scary thought. Its the definition of single-use, and in some cases totally unnecessary.

At riel we've explored our options and decided that we wanted to do better - and we literally mean better.

The Better Packaging Co.  is an exciting brand that "design revolutionary, customised packaging solutions for the new eco-nomy – a circular economy in which generating waste is not an option and the earth’s resources are not treated as infinite."

The packaging that you receive your riel goods in is stylish, sturdy and 100% compostable (excluding the sticker, we‘re working on that!) so dont throw it in the bin! Cut out the shipping label and use it as a compost bin liner, before feeding it to your worms (yum).
